KFC breakfast

I went into work to play Fallout New Vegas on Saturday, and have been resisting going into KFC which is on the way. So I gave in and bought a couple of things to eat. They're pretty small. That's the thing in China, even though the food may be cheaper, the sizes are a lot smaller.

The bacon egg burger. This in no way approaches the look of the tasty looking picture on the menu, but it was still pretty good to eat.

The bacon egg flaky pastry. This was pretty lackluster, but okay. Personally I think the texture of these pastry things gets in the way of it being practical to eat them. Again, looks nothing like the picture.

McDonald's McMuffin is so much nicer and looks more like the picture they display. I grabbed one, one day when I was in an outlet waiting to meet someone. Actually, the nearest outlet is about ten minutes walk away.. maybe someday soon.

Mallowbisc biscuits

Back in NZ, they have a tasty brand of biscuit called Mallowpuffs. These reminded me of them, so were thrown in the basket.

These are what they look like. Not quite the same, to look at.

These were noxious. No chocolate flavour whatsoever, just a cloying chemical like taste that reminded me of malt. Looking at the ingredients on the back, corn syrup was listed, which would have been a warning sign had I thought to look.
